Simple, quick and easy - that's the amount of effort you'll need for this DIY! Instead of spending money on expensive cases you could just as well create your own unique designs in a matter of just a few minutes.

Here are a couple of creations I made for my phone

What you'll need:

  • A pair of scissors or an exacto knife
  • Printed/coloured/solid paper or any fabric that's easy to cut (preferably seamless)
  • A transparent phone case
  • Template of your phone case

STEP 1

Pick a cover of your choice - the options are endless as long as the cover isn't too bulky, otherwise there will barely be any space for your phone and it'll just fall out of the case.

For my phone covers I just used whatever I had laying around my room which was some leftover kitchen backsplash, scraps of some faux fur fabric and some coloured paper.

STEP 2

Take your template and trace it around your preferred paper.

I felt more comfortable using scissors but if you're cutting with an exacto knife don't forget to use a mat.

STEP 3

But was everything cut well?
If the cover is too big adjust the frame or the camera hole to match your cover's size.

**Customize your own cover (iPhone 5/5s/SE)**

If you're familiar with editing programs you can also get creative and illustrate your own designs.
Down below I've created templates for you to print and I also added an empty template which you can use as a pattern for your iPhone or use to edit your own pictures!
